About Coach Jennifer

Jennifer Mann is a Master Women’s Empowerment Coach, certified through The SWAT Institute.

While journeying down the well-planned career path as a Certified Financial Planner, Jennifer started to feel a calling to do something new and excited. Her love of animals brought her to volunteering at a local shelter. There she took courses in behavior and well-being of animals and eventually earning her certification.  This was a great weekend hobby until she started growing her family. She definitely felt a need to have more control over her own time and make the terrifying/courageous leap of leaving her corporate job and starting her own part-time business while being able to raise her babies.

With having her own Dog Behavior Consulting business, she met with many families seeking help to ‘fix’ the problem behaviors of their dog. Jennifer brought a great sense of relief with her educational programs and training supports. But she felt something was missing… and she started to see that the dogs were really a reflection of what was going on with their humans. Humans are great a burying our stress our dog’s behavior is a reflection of what is going on deep inside their beloved human(s). She started to see that supporting the people more got better results for the dog… and it seemed to be improving family dynamics all around.

Observing that people have all sorts of ‘reflections’ around them, their pets, children, bosses… she decided it was time once again to upgrade her education to really be equipped to help her human clients. After researching the coaching industry, the SWAT Institute was the destination that felt most in alignment with her passion. So once again she took a leap and signed up.

The Master Empowerment Coaching program definitely enhanced her dog behavior business, but also surprised her that it grew into a second business for clients who loved her coaching but didn’t even have dogs!

Now she is happily combining her time between her coaching clients and working at The SWAT Institute to support other up-and-coming coaches move into their role in the Mentorship Coaching program, before they graduate.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do. Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
